Striping Wallpaper

Hello to all:
When you find out you are pregnant many things run through your head. One that I was most excited about was designing the nursery. What color of walls should I have or should I wall paper, what is the theme going to be boy, girl, or neutral. Well 9 years ago I had a boy and decided to go with primary colored pock-a-dot wall paper with a cars and trucks border and a solid bright blue on the bottom. What a neat room when it was done and it lasted through 2 boys.
The time has come for the wall-paper to come down and boy is that a chore. I'm pretty sure we sized behind the wall-paper but when I got it wet and pealed it off the glue part of the wall-paper stayed on the wall. I have tried water and vinegar, wall-paper striper and I just can't get it to come off very easily. Does anyone have any ideas to help me.
I can't wait to get this done because I have found really neat wall murals that are peal and stick and will come off so you can move them, they also have other stickers to match. I wish I would have found that 9 years ago I wouldn't be going through the grief I am today.
Please let me know if you have a remedy for my problem.
